Account Information: Username, email address, phone number, password (stored as a bcrypt hash — never plain text).
Profile Data: Age, gender, weight, height, fitness goal, city, state, country.
Activity Data: Workouts, nutrition logs, sleep logs, water logs, step counts, progress photos, and AURON Scores.
Technical Data: IP address (used for automatic location detection at signup), browser type, device type, and usage analytics.
We use your information to: (a) operate and improve the Service; (b) calculate your AURON Score and streaks; (c) display your information on leaderboards (username and score only); (d) enable trainer–athlete communication; (e) send account-related notifications; (f) detect location for leaderboard filtering (city, state, country).
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Cloudinary: For storage of profile photos and progress images.
MongoDB Atlas: Our cloud database provider.
Payment Processors: For billing (we do not store card numbers).
Your Trainer: If you are linked to a trainer, they can view your scores, compliance data, workout history, and progress photos.
Leaderboards display your username, AURON Score, and general location (city or country). You can opt out of leaderboards by clearing your location in your profile settings.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.
We use industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS encryption, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@auron.app.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what data we collect and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). Contact us to exercise these rights.
AURON is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
